Step into a day at HCC

As the Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor, you set the pace for plant uptime. Your morning begins with a safety huddle, followed by assigning mechanics to specific tasks and validating that planned job packages are complete. Throughout the day, you balance preventive and predictive work, make tactical adjustments to stay on schedule, and coach your team toward safe, efficient, and economical execution.

What you’ll do

• Grow and engage a high-performing maintenance team dedicated to high quality at low cost.
• Champion a safe, compliant work environment and reinforce safety in daily and weekly meetings.
• Ensure every job is executed efficiently, economically, and safely.
• Lead daily safety talks and weekly reviews covering equipment, processes, and expansion initiatives.
• Review and refine planned job packages, finalizing labor, part needs, and task priorities.
• Plan and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Assign mechanics to specific work at the start of shift and reallocate as needed during the day.
• Make on-the-spot decisions to keep work as close to plan as possible.
• Follow up on mechanic feedback to improve planning and job methods.
• Deliver detailed downtime reports to drive proactive maintenance practices.
• Help establish and maintain the storeroom, shop, and CMMS discipline.
• Use SAP to create/close work orders, manage equipment data, and track inventory—and train mechanics in proper SAP usage.
• Partner closely with Operations to align maintenance with production goals and deliver excellent internal customer service.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.

What you bring

• High School Diploma and 4 years related experience, OR Associate's degree plus 3 years related experience, OR Bachelor's plus 1 year related experience.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts (days/swings/graveyard).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
