Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Business Intelligence Developer to join our onsite team The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering reporting requirements directly from business users designing and developing reports and dashboards using BusinessObjects and ensuring high standards of data accuracy and performance This role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders data architects and analysts to translate business needs into scalable and efficient technical solutions
Key Responsibilities
Engage directly with business users to understand and document reporting and dashboard requirements
Design develop and maintain BusinessObjects reports using tools such as Web Intelligence and Universe Designer
Ensure data accuracy consistency and optimal performance across all reporting solutions
Collaborate with data architects and analysts to align reporting solutions with data models and business logic
Optimize SQL queries and data retrieval processes for performance and scalability
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation data inconsistencies and performance bottlenecks
Provide support and enhancements to existing reports and dashboards based on evolving business needs
Required Skills Qualifications
Strong experience with BusinessObjects tools including Web Intelligence and Universe Designer
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with data warehousing concepts
Ability to interpret and optimize query execution plans
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
Experience in gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications
Familiarity with performance tuning and data validation techniques
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in onsiteoffshore delivery models
Exposure to other BI tools or platforms eg Power BI Tableau is a plus
Understanding of ETL processes and data integration
