Job Title: Promotions Producer - WPXI TV

Position Overview

WPXI TV Pittsburgh is seeking a talented creative who can take the lead on projects that cut through the clutter and drive results. We’re in search of someone with a positive, can-do attitude, and ambition to learn and grow with a talented and supportive group of producers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conceive, write and produce promos for TV, digital, radio and other projects, as assigned.
• Coordinate and produce sponsored projects and production, including segments and shows.
• Coordinate and produce commercial production.
• Represent the creative department with the highest quality production projects and professionalism with clients. 
• Must be able to finish projects for air with minimum supervision. 
• Gain a full understanding of projects and give input for creative solutions.
• Offer innovative and creative ideas that add value to all video projects. 
• Seek input while managing projects to assure deadlines are met. 
• Multi-task effectively, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, video production, journalism or 2 years equivalent work experience
• Must be organized, detailed and have excellent communication skills. 
• Must have good work ethic and strong problem-solving skills. 
• Must write scripts effectively, creatively and accurately. 
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of creativity under tight deadlines. 
• May be responsible for other duties, as assigned. 
• Punctual, regular and consistent attendance. 
• Skilled in editing, videography, audio, lighting and graphics a plus.
• Photoshop, After Effects knowledge a plus.
