Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Analyst to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to efficient payroll operations while ensuring compliance with tax regulations and reporting standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing payroll processes for large organizations and thrive in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: - Process bi-weekly payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Manage multi-state payroll operations, including local tax compliance and reporting. - Handle payroll garnishments and ensure proper deductions in accordance with legal requirements. - Reconcile payroll accounts to maintain accurate financial records. - Prepare and file payroll tax returns, adhering to all applicable regulations. - Utilize PeopleSoft HRIS and HR systems to efficiently manage payroll functions. - Generate detailed payroll reports to support organizational decision-making. - Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries promptly. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless payroll integration and operations. Requirements - A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably for large-scale organizations. - Proficiency in PeopleSoft HRIS and HR systems. - Strong knowledge of full-cycle payroll processes, including multi-state operations. - Expertise in payroll tax compliance, reporting, and reconciliation. - Familiarity with handling payroll garnishments and deductions. - Experience managing bi-weekly payroll for over 500 employees. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills to effectively address payroll-related inquiries and collaborate with team members.
