Job Summary- The Financial Analyst will serve as a versatile resource within the Finance Department, working under the Accounting Manager while supporting the Controller and department initiatives. This role combines responsibilities across accounting, financial analysis and systems functions, filling gaps as necessary to ensure smooth operations. The position requires a proactive, adaptable individual who can collaborate effectively and contribute to both routine and strategic initiatives. There is an opportunity for professional growth through involvement in system implementation and process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities-
Accounting Oversight: Assist in the oversight of accounting functions, including reconciliations and financial reporting as needed by the Controller.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports as requested by the CFO and other members of the leadership team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across accounting and financial analysis areas to address operational needs and bridge gaps between functions.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including budget-to-actual variance analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting process and assist with financial planning to align departmental and organizational goals.
Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses such as revenue and expense forecasting, benchmarking, and scenario planning to inform decision-making.
Operational Initiatives: Participate in projects aimed at improving efficiency, including automation and financial system implementation efforts.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to financial and accounting processes.
Qualifications-
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, financial systems, or a related financial role, and experience in a public sector or large organizational environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or continuing education certifications are encouraged .

Salary and Benefits-
MMA offers a competitive salary for this position, with a range of $70,000 to $100,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications as well as a generous benefits package.
