The Burger Boat in Savannah, GA is looking for one cook/expo for immediate hire. We are located at Bull River Marina- 8005 Us Hwy 80 E. We are the ONLY Food Truck on the waterways here in the lowcountry. Looking for more than just a cook, but a "personality" to be the face of the Burger Boat and also bring some things to the table to make our menu pop. You will be on a BOAT so please keep that in mind - this is not your average "Back of the House" gig. Like all food trucks, we work in a tight space and of course we're on a BOAT so we are limited to flat-top grills and prep area. We are in OUTDOORS environment and occasionally leaving dock and going to catering events or other locations to operate. Boat experience is not required for this position but training will be provided so that you know your way around the vessel's equipment.

Qualifications :

• Must have 3 years Chef/Head Cook experience
• Must be able to learn/use our POS system
• Must be able to populate food/supply orders weekly and control food waste
• Must be familiar with SafeServe or DHEC food inspections, health standards
• Must be able to work in an outdoor environment (we operate at docks and within the local rivers of Savannah
• Must provide at least two restaurant references (FAST FOOD don't count)
• Must be a "Foodie" and able to converse with customers when applicable
• Be positive and bring your game!
