3D Modeler

Architectural 3D Modeling

Seeking a focused and enthusiastic Revit (& Rhino??) Modeler to join our team. This is a new created position, intended to support architects who actively use Revit and Rhino for project delivery.

Regular responsibilities:

• Fast and accurate building of 3D models, often using design models developed by others as a guide
• Building project specific families to add definition to Revit models as projects progress
• Help to maintain smooth operation of the models, and troubleshoot Revit and Rhino user issues within the group.
• The majority of the position will be spent working directly on projects, with a portion of time spent receiving software training for related modeling.
• We work on a wide variety of project types and scales, so versatility to adapt to a variety of collaborative design team settings is necessary.

Preferred candidates will have:

• Associate degree and 4 to 5 years of experience working on architectural projects in Revit
• Demonstrable quickness and accuracy as a Revit modeler (and preferably Rhino too)
• Familiarity with basic construction types and how to build those into a 3D model, with guidance from a project architect
• Strong graphic communication skills
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail and motivation to learn
• Collaborative and professional work ethic

Note that this position is not intended for someone with a professional architecture degree. If you are a highly skilled at Revit but unfamiliar with Rhino, please consider applying. It is possible to pick up Rhino skills quickly for those familiar with other modeling software.
