Email is on my LinkedIn profile*** Job Title: Systems Engineer Location: Mostly Remote - Ventura County, CA (occasional onsite as needed) Salary: $140,000-$150,000 + 7.5% Annual Bonus Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire About the Role: We're seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a high-performing IT team supporting a variety of enterprise-level clients. This is a mostly remote position with some presence required in Ventura County, CA. The ideal candidate has deep experience in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), strong networking and server management skills, and a proven track record of executing technical projects in dynamic environments. Key Responsibilities: + Design, implement, and maintain scalable systems infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. + Lead and support network configurations including switching, routing, VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, wireless, and network security. + Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware). + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology projects on time and within scope. + Proactively monitor systems and resolve complex issues with minimal supervision. + Document systems and procedures and mentor junior team members as needed. Requirements Required Qualifications: + 5+ years of experience in a senior systems engineering or infrastructure role. + Experience with Azure or AWS (certifications are a plus; specific platform training provided). + Strong knowledge of networking: switching, routing, VLANs, inter-VLANs, wireless, and network security. + Proficiency with Windows Server administration and virtualization technologies. + Excellent multitasking, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
