About the Role

As a Sustainability Data Analyst at Carrier, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our environmental stewardship and supporting our long-term product sustainability strategy. Your expertise in sustainability practices, data analytics, and HVAC will be central to shaping and analyzing our product portfolio’s environmental impact. You will collaborate closely with global engineering, product, and corporate sustainability teams to ensure the integrity of our sustainability data and regulatory compliance. Leveraging your deep knowledge and analytical abilities, you will drive process improvements and provide actionable insights that inform leadership decisions and help chart a course toward a more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical ownership product sustainability data, methods used for energy consumption and emission calculations and projections.
  • Analyze for data quality, trends, anomalies, outliers on a periodic basis.
  • Leverage the broad knowledge on sustainability practices, regulatory requirements to create compliant documentation for methodologies used for emissions inventory.
  • Global collaboration with internal subject matter experts, engineering leaders, product managers, leadership and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Leverage strong aptitude for process improvement of business workflows, identify gaps, create or improve processes for overall product sustainability data management.
  • Provide technical directions and guidance to the team on the subjects of HVAC/R, Energy and Sustainability.
  • Support creation of new metrics, analysis required for leadership, investors and for developing long-term product sustainability strategy roadmaps.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience level: 10+years
  • Education: Bachelor's engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Energy Engineering
  • Strong HVAC/R domain knowledge, energy and sustainability. An understanding of complete HVAC product life cycle is a plus.
  • Advanced data analytical skills in excel and python.
  • Demonstratable experience in business process improvement.
