Job Overview:

L7 Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Superintendent with strong Water/Wastewater experience to oversee upgrades to water and wastewater treatment facilities in the Melbourne FL area. The Superintendent will provide daily onsite leadership and supervision of all field personnel, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong knowledge of piping, mechanical, and concrete work specific to the water/wastewater industry, as well as the ability to plan ahead, resolve issues collaboratively with the project team, and maintain high standards for safety, quality, schedule, cost control, and owner satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage construction projects focused on water and wastewater infrastructure, including treatment plants, pipelines, and system improvements.
• Ability to teach and train others.
• Efficient communication with vendors and subcontractors.
• Detail oriented, responsible for driving construction projects to completion.
• Ensure team and site are adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
• Oversee daily operations.
• Maintain proper documentation.
• Lead meetings.
• Effectively manage budget and deadlines.
• Problem solving, and ability to resolve issues that may arise during the project appropriately.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted.
• Strong knowledge of water/wastewater systems, treatment plants, and associated construction processes.
• Proven track record of managing projects from start to finish while staying on schedule and within budget.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with field teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and make decisions under pressure.
