About the job and your team

Direct supervision of hourly employees to make maximum use of manpower to cast a quality product while following all safety processes and driving a safety culture.

You will work on

• Ensures that all safe practices are followed and provides strong support to ensure C7 programs are followed.
• Assure that operating practices are followed.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Casthouse/Saws equipment, systems and casting methods to meet production and quality goals while operating in a safe manner and within reasonable cost limits.
• Maintain an ongoing training program so that each Casthouse employee is trained as required.
• Maintain open and fair employee relations for optimum results.
• Operating the spec lab.
• Physical inventory of finished product, semi-finished product & raw materials as needed.
• Maintain direct reports timesheets.
• Other such duties as assigned by the Casthouse Manager.

Your qualifications and skills

Journey Level Operator trained in Furnace, DC Casting, Homogenization and Saws is preferred.
