The Sous Chef plays a vital leadership role in ensuring Purveyor’s culinary program operates at the highest level of excellence. This position supports the Executive Chef in driving quality, consistency, creativity, and efficiency throughout all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader, strong communicator, and passionate culinarian who thrives in a high-performance, hospitality-driven environment.

• Responsibility of assisting all culinary operations on the property.
• Assist in overseeing the quality and consistency of all culinary output.
• Assist in overseeing the culinary team, including banquet department.
• Purchasing products from preferred vendors while keeping the inventory stock to daily pars and not overstocked on any items.
• Responsible for maintaining the inventory & assist the Chef with associated food costs.
• Complying with all Department of Health guidelines.
• Assist the Chef in scheduling of the culinary team and achieving associated labor & cost of goods goals. This shall include working the hot line to cover days off/ sick days of the line cooks.
• Adhering to and ensuring observance of company policies set forth by Church Street Family.
• We expect that you will comply with all Federal, State and Local laws pertaining to employment, harassment, and health regulations.
• We expect that you will keep and report accurate records.
• We expect that you will comply with all policies and procedures issued by the Company including but not limited to Inventory and Quality Control.
