Job Title : Senior Network Engineer - R1012507

Location : Brea, CA (Yes, the candidate needs to travel to client site if required at least 10-15%)
Duration : 12+ Months Contract (Potential for extension)

Pay Rate : $60

Qualifying Questions:

1. Do you have 12+ years of recent networking expertise supporting an enterprise environment?
2. Do you have 10+ years' experience designing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex WAN/Velo Cloud SD-WAN solutions, including advanced knowledge of BGP and QoS?
3. Do you have end-to-end lifecycle experience (design, configuration, installation, administration) with large-scale enterprise networks?
4. Do you have strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Cisco firewall technologies, including design, installation, maintenance, and support?
5. Do you have experience performing deep-dive troubleshooting using packet captures, flow analysis, and tools such as Wireshark, Panorama logs, and VeloCloud analytics?
6. Do you have hands-on experience with automation or scripting (Python, Ansible, REST APIs) to streamline network operations or configurations?
7. Do you have experience working in ITIL-based environments, including creating RCAs, reviewing changes, and leading P1/P2 incident bridge calls?
8. Do you have CCNP certification or equivalent level?
9. Do you have Palo Alto advanced knowledge (Global infrastructure management, Panorama, Distributed User-ID, advanced Global Protect)?
10. Do you have wireless experience with Cisco WLC, 802.1x/MAB, and Distributed Flexconnect deployments?

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING QUESTIONS THAT NEED TO BE ANSWERED IN SUPPLIER COMMENTS:

1. Do you have hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switching and its integration with VMware vSphere (network/vSwitch configuration)?
2. Do you have hands-on experience in deploying and managing network resources within AWS and/or Azure (VPC/VNet, Transit Gateway/Hub)?
3. Have you served as a Technical Lead on major network projects, including documenting standards and mentoring junior engineers?

Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of computing or computer science or a related field.

• 12+ years of recent network engineering expertise supporting an enterprise environment
• 10+ years' experience on:

• WAN:

• SD-WAN
• Advanced BGP
• DMVPN
• Quality of Service (QoS)

• Security:

• Palo Alto advanced knowledge (Global infrastructure management, Panorama, Distributed User-ID, advanced Global Protect configuration)
• F5 configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance
• Cisco ISE distributed deployment (Wireless 802.1x, Wired 802.1x, Guest, IoT, TACACS+)
• Cisco ASA (with routed-VPN implementation and troubleshooting)
• PKI Knowledge
