Senior Consultant – Management Consulting Services

RICAR Business Consulting LLC (RBC) provides high-quality management consulting services to public sector clients across the State of Florida. Through this opportunity, RBC will support the Florida Department of Management Services' statewide  Management Consulting Services Mission . As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering consulting services that improve operations, guide policy development, and support strategic initiatives for state agencies and eligible users.

Job Description Summary

The Senior Consultant will manage day-to-day project operations while providing expert subject matter knowledge to clients. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality consulting services are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and oversee project delivery.
• Ensure quality standards and timely completion of all assigned tasks.
• Provide technical and subject matter expertise in accordance with client requirements.
• Participate as a senior team member offering high-level consulting services.
• Plan, organize, and execute tasks to achieve project success.
• Develop and define strategic visions to support organizational goals.
• Direct, schedule, and coordinate management of project tasks.
• Serve as the primary client interface on assigned engagements.
• Possess authority and responsibility for execution of client task orders.
• Lead, organize, and oversee subordinate work efforts.
• Manage and direct support services to ensure effective project outcomes.

Required Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in management consulting services.
• Proven background managing consulting projects and leading cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in organizational strategy, project management, policy analysis, or process improvement.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor.

Education & Certifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Preferred:

• Master's degree (MBA, MPA, or related).
• Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or Certified Management Consultant.

Work Location & Arrangement

• Work is primarily  on-site at client locations across Florida ; the client may authorize some remote or hybrid assignments.
• Specific work location and travel details will be defined in individual project orders.

Schedule & Position Type

• Full-Time position.
• Standard business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (may vary by client).
• Travel may be required depending on client and project needs. All travel must be pre-approved by the Customer and will be reimbursed in accordance with section 112.061, Florida Statutes .
