All American Staffing is looking for Janitorial workers for schools in the Orange County. With this position you must be able to pass a background and drug test we are looking for individuals that are looking to start right away. Job Summary :

The School Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment within the school. This includes cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic and pleasant atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities :

• General Cleaning : Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in all areas of the school, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and offices.
• Restroom Maintenance : Clean, sanitize, and restock supplies in student and staff restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Trash and Recycling : Empty trash and recycling bins daily and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Surface Cleaning : Dust and wipe down desks, tables, windows, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Floor Care : Maintain and clean floors, including waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning when necessary.
• Setup and Support : Assist in setting up and taking down furniture for events, meetings, and activities within the school.
• Safety and Maintenance : Report any building maintenance issues, such as leaks or damaged equipment, and ensure the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Stocking and Inventory : Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, and alert the administration when inventory is low.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Good physical condition; able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Basic communication skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions :

• Typically, this position requires working after school hours or early mornings.
• Physical tasks, including lifting and frequent movement.
• May require working during holidays or school breaks for deep cleaning.
