Retail Store Manager job at Ely Outfitting Company Ely, MN, US

This is an excellent position for someone with retail experience and/or the desire to learn. The Retail Store Manager reports to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

Manage retail store inventory, including purchasing, receiving, and merchandising retail items.
Ensure a clean and well maintained retail building.
Provide outstanding customer service.
Accurately handle customer payments.
Assist with other shop duties as needed.
Maintain the highest level of friendly and professional guest services.

Ability to commit to employment between May 1 and Oct. 1. There is the possibility for a portion of the season to be full time and a portion of the season to be part time.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
Ability to work weekends.
Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in an environment that requires close attention to detail and multitasking.
Knowledge of the Boundary Waters and interest in sharing enthusiasm for the Wilderness experience.
