You’ll run a fast, measurable process—field surveys and virtual consults, clear proposals, disciplined follow-up—and you’ll grow beyond inbound by driving referrals and repeat business. Typical project value is $2,000–$20,000. Compensation first year: $64,000–$110,000+ (base salary + uncapped commission). Schedule: full-time, 8:30–5:00 in Sykesville, MD, with homeowner appointments across central MD/DC/VA; occasional evenings/weekends to meet homeowners.
What you will do
• Run in-home surveys: measure accurately, document site conditions, capture photos, and translate findings into clear scopes and polished proposals
• Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to close across phone, video, and in-person interactions
• Respond to new leads quickly, then execute a consistent multi-touch follow-up plan on every open opportunity
• Ask for referrals, re-engage past customers, and maintain a personal book of business to supplement inbound demand
• Keep a clean, forecastable pipeline in HubSpot—tasks set, next steps dated, notes same day
• Partner with operations to set expectations and hand off clean scopes for scheduling and installation
How we measure success (KPIs)
• Surveys and consults: 8–12 completed per week by Day 60 (mix of in-home and virtual)
• Proposal turnaround: within 24 hours for standard scopes; 48 hours for complex projects
• Close rate: 40%+ on presented proposals by Day 90
• Revenue: ramp to ~$70,000/month by Month 6; sustain ~$800,000+/year thereafter
• Referral/self-generated mix: ≥20% of closed revenue by Month 6 and trending upward
• Pipeline hygiene: 100% of active deals documented in HubSpot with next step and date; pricing discipline to company targets
What you bring
• 2+ years of success in residential/home-services sales or inside sales closing roles
• Confidence running in-home surveys and virtual consultations; consultative selling and objection handling
• Strong phone presence and clear written follow-through; reliable, professional communication style
• Proven CRM discipline (HubSpot preferred) and comfort working to weekly activity and revenue targets
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field appointments; able to use basic survey tools
• Work authorization in the U.S.; able to pass a standard background check
• Nice to have: experience in windows/doors, window film/tint, roofing, HVAC, flooring, pest, or solar; bilingual Spanish/English
