Now Hiring: 1:1 School Nurse - RN (25/26 School Year) – Washington.

Location : Sammamish, WA.

Contract through the 25/26 school year.
Schedule : 22.5–30 hours/week | Follows school district calendar.
Setting : High School openings.

Pay :

• Weekly Pay: $1,200-$1,350.

Your Role as a School Nurse (RN):

• Deliver 1:1 care tailored to the high school student’s specific medical needs.
• Provide supervision and support during transportation on the school bus .
• Administer medications and monitor for any changes in condition.
• Support the student’s access to education by promoting health and safety in the school environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and medical providers.
• Implement and follow the Individualized Health Plan (IHP) or Emergency Care Plan (ECP) .
• Provide health education and guidance to the student as appropriate.
• Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies calmly and effectively.

School Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Must have active Washington state or compact RN license in good standing
• Certification: CPR/BLS.
• Prior experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or home health preferred.
• Able to provide medical oversight during bus transportation .
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation ability.
• Comfortable working with high school-aged students.
• Physical ability to meet job demands (e.g., standing, sitting, lifting up to 40 lbs)
