Job Summary: Our client has opened a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst position on their QA team, reporting to the Director of Software Development. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, with the ability to document and convey functional knowledge across the entire QA team. Our software systems require testing front-end systems, process APIs, and validation of results with superior SQL skills. This position can be remote. Essential Duties: Document and communicate functional knowledge of existing corporate software systems Creation and maintenance of software test plans and test cases Conducting functional and regression testing Understand and support the PCI DDS compliance requirements across our software Verify the security and privacy of the software systems Partner with the Development and Product teams to deliver exceptional, value driven software systems Other related duties as assigned. Position Overview: We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our dynamic QA team, directly reporting to the Director of Software Development. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication capabilities, adept at sharing and documenting system functionalities within the QA team. Our software demands rigorous testing of front-end interfaces, API processes, and result validation using advanced SQL techniques. This role supports remote work. Key Responsibilities: Document and disseminate detailed knowledge of our proprietary software systems. Design, update, and manage comprehensive test plans and cases. Perform thorough functional and regression testing. Ensure compliance with PCI DSS standards throughout our software ecosystem. Safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of our software solutions. Collaborate closely with Development and Product teams to produce high-quality, value-centric software. Undertake additional responsibilities as directed. Must be a U.S. citizen. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA Analyst role. Demonstrated expertise in testing both front-end and back-end systems, including APIs. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written. Advanced proficiency in SQL. Strong analytical skills for issue identification and root cause analysis. Familiarity with tools like Postman and Atlassian Jira. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in developing automated testing systems. Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ASTQB/ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA). Background in software development.
