Job Description

A private family in Englewood, NJ is looking to hire a full-time Property Caretaker / Handyman for their 13,000 square foot residence.

Work days / hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance tasks on the property including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Assist in the management of outdoor spaces, including landscaping and snow removal.
• Handle requests and service orders from the property owners promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain an inventory of tools and supplies to ensure all necessary materials are available for repairs.
• Ensure the property is in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with property owners regarding the status of maintenance and repairs.

Essential Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and experience in general maintenance and repair tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix common problems in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desired Experience:

• Prior experience in property maintenance or as a handyman is preferred.
• Experience with groundskeeping and landscaping tasks is a plus.
• Experience working directly with property owners or management is beneficial.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
