We are currently seeking a Power BI Developer to join our team in mexico, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).

Power BI Sr. Consultant

The ideal candidate should have 8+ years relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing business problems to determine the best way to apply BI capabilities to deliver solutions. Maintains and grows working knowledge of enterprise data assets and data-centric business processes

Job Responsibilities

• Develop reports and dashboards on Power BI.
• Building Analysis Services reporting models.
• Expertise in writing complex DAX functions in Power BI Worked on all types of transformations that are commonly used in Power BI Query editor.
• Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.
• Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
• Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
• Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
• Should have an edge over making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
• Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
• Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries.
• Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards.
• Very good communication skills must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams.

Required Skills for Power BI Lead developer

• 6+ years’ experience as a Power BI Developer.
• Excellent understanding of data model in Power BI
• Excellent understanding of row-level security in Power BI
• Experience embedding Power BI into applications
• Experience using Direct-Query & Import options in Power BI and ability to decide when to choose one over the other
• Must have 2-3years of experience in data-specific roles.
• Knowledge in Microsoft BI Stack
• Grip over data analytics
• Should possess software development skills
