About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using Power BI, SSIS, Angular, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visualization, front-end development and data integration to support business intelligence and application development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Front-End Development: Build and maintain dynamic, user-friendly web interfaces using Angular for internal and client-facing applications.
- Data Integration: Design and implement ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or databases.
- Database Management: Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support data processing and application functionality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all platforms and processes.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve the performance of data pipelines, queries, and applications.
Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen due to project requirements.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- 4+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
- 1+ years of experience developing web applications using Angular (preferably Angular 2+).
- 1+ years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI for data modeling, DAX, and visualization.
- Strong knowledge of SSIS for data integration and workflow automation.
- Expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and front-end development best practices.
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, indexing, and database design.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
