Join the UK Dining team to support health and wellness initiatives across UK ’s campus. As a Nutrition Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Registered Dietitian to promote evidence - based nutrition education, outreach, and engagement. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to gain experience across multiple dietetics concentrations, including community nutrition, foodservice, wellness promotion, and sports nut rition.
Plan and schedule semester-long social media content, including captions and post timing
Assist in Health & Wellness pop-ups
Assist in developing health & wellness promotional items (e.g., t-shirts, giveaways)
Create and deliver nutrition presentations to student groups and campus organizations
Provide accurate, evidence-based nutrition information to Greek life, athletics, and the general student body
Develop and perform cooking demonstrations tailored to college students, shared in-person and/or on socialmedia
Collaborate with marketing on projects, campaigns, and content creation
Contribute to the planning and execution of UK Dining nutrition events
Conduct research to support campus dietitians in food, nutrition, and health & wellness
Other duties as assigned to support the goals of UK Dining
Currently pursuing a degree in Dietetics
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
