Job Description

This position provides administrative support to the operational and organizational needs of the Middle School ministry. This Is an in-person, in-office part-time role working 12 hours per week. A background screening and drug screening are required of all candidates offered employment.

REPORTS TO:
Middle School Coordinator

TEAM MEMBERSHIP:
SRC Middle School Ministry

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE (but are not limited to) :

• Administrative support for the SRC Middle School Ministry
• Secondary administrative support for Campus Night, Events, First Priority, Retreats, and Camps

Specific Project Responsibility (includes but is not limited to) :

• Purchasing, organizing, and Inventory management and maintenance
• Resource management (eSpace) and calendar scheduling
• Arena Data management
• Social Media
• General office tasks
  • Order office supplies and research new deals/suppliers
  • Maintain cleanliness of work room and Student Life Center
  • Event Coordinating
  • Coordinate food orders for events and weekly programming- including researching vendors, placing orders, and staying within budget
  • Track and submit receipts and expenses related to food, supplies, and event logistics
  • Help update the ministry calendar with upcoming events and important dates
• Some physical work required

Accomplishment of responsibilities will necessitate (but is not limited to) :

• Must be willing and able to fill in for any and all positions needed for the SRC Middle
• The position allocates a total of 12 hours a week, occasionally including Sundays (holidays, special events, camps, retreats)

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:  

• Administrative background
• Strong communication skills 
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Able to manage small tasks independently and follow up consistently
• Strong Interpersonal skills, including leading people

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
SRC Membership is required. Involvement in the church community is important. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. The individual will need to be comfortable interfacing with volunteers and parents as well as students.
