As a Microbiology Technician, you'll play a vital support role in ensuring the day-to-day readiness of our Microbiology Lab, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of critical testing and compliance processes.

o Hourly Pay Range: $19.00 - $25.00

The final offer, including level and pay, will be determined based on a variety of factors such as the candidate’s relevant job and industry experience, education, knowledge, skills, geographic location, and abilities. What You’ll Do:

· Perform routine laboratory support tasks to maintain lab readiness, including morning housekeeping activities

· Maintain neat, accurate, and GMP-compliant documentation and logs

· Prepare, sterilize, and label microbiological media, reagents, and diluents following standard procedures

· Conduct inventory checks and request restocking of supplies; transport materials from the warehouse

· Assist Microbiologists with:

o Growth promotion and sterility testing of prepared and purchased media

o Environmental monitoring (viable and non-viable) and swab sampling

o Execution and documentation of laboratory investigations and special projects

· Follow proper aseptic techniques and maintain clean lab practices

· Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in a science-related field preferred

· Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced laboratory environment

· Strong attention to detail and judgment to evaluate information accurately

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

· Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

· Understanding of lab safety and willingness to learn GMP/GLP standards

· Effective written and verbal communication skills in English

· Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs, using step stools, and performing tasks that require standing or sitting for extended periods
