Based in Atlanta, GA, HD Supply, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Home Depot, is a leading wholesale distribution company serving customers and their communities across the Multifamily, Public Sector, Hospitality, Trades, Industrial, and Healthcare industries through an expansive network of over 75 distribution centers across the U.S. & Canada.

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Logistics Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for transforming raw and disparate data into actionable insights that optimize supply chain performance, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency. The Logistics Analyst will work with large datasets from multiple systems, ensuring data integrity, building dashboards, and delivering reporting that drives key business decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or data analytics roles (MS + 2–4 years acceptable).
• Ability to work onsite in Atlanta (4 days in office, 1 day remote per week).
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Advanced skills in SAP & Oracle ERP systems – crucial for managing logistics operations, inventory, and supply chain data.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries across multiple datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas, scenario modeling).
• Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI) to design dashboards and visual analytics.
• Programming skills in Python or R for statistical analysis, data modeling, or automation (preferred).
• Solid understanding of supply chain management, logistics planning, and operational processes.
• Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement data-driven process improvements.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in data analysis and logistics operations, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Gather, validate, and normalize large datasets from SAP, Oracle, and other ERP systems to create a centralized source of truth.
• Design and execute SQL queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate logistics and supply chain data.
• Build and maintain advanced Excel models to support forecasting, cost analysis, and performance measurement.
• Develop dynamic dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or Power BI to communicate supply chain KPIs, trends, and variances to stakeholders.
• Conduct advanced analytics using Python or R (preferred) for scenario modeling, automation, and statistical analysis.
• Perform benchmarking and competitive analysis against industry standards to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide clear documentation of data definitions, assumptions, and limitations to ensure consistency and transparency.
• Partner cross-functionally with transportation, warehousing, procurement, and finance teams to drive supply chain improvements.
• Participate in strategic projects, process improvement initiatives, and technology implementations to enhance logistics operations.
• Deliver presentations to leadership teams and stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
