We are currently seeking a skilled Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician's Assistant) specializing in Breast Surgery. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care and support in breast surgery procedures. The position is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility and delivering exceptional services to our patients. You will be involved in a variety of breast surgery projects, contributing to the overall success of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Assist in surgical procedures related to breast surgery.
• Provide post-operative care and follow-up with patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-operative care.
• Document patient information and treatment plans accurately.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician's Assistant (PA) license.
• Specialization or experience in Breast Surgery.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and post-operative care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

No call shifts

Daily Census: 18 patients

Setting: Outpatient clinic

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & lodging
