Job Description

Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Understand and maintain knowledge of the store's inventory, including wines, beers, spirits, and related products. Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences, tastes, and occasions. Assist in organizing and maintaining the store's displays, shelves, and product arrangements. Process customer transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system. Assist in receiving, stocking, and inventory management, ensuring products are appropriately labeled and priced. Provide information about different beverage products. Uphold store policies and procedures, including responsible alcohol sales and ID verification.Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and assist customers effectively. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain a clean and orderly store environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Reliable and punctual, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to scheduled shifts. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Previous retail experience, preferably in the beverage industry, is a plus but not required. Passion for and knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits, including an understanding of different varieties, regions, and styles is a plus but not required.
