Legal Billing Specialist Responsibilities:
Process client invoices using Aderant software and Pre-bill Viewer
Submit electronic invoices and accruals through multiple e-billing platforms
Review, edit, and finalize pre-bills in collaboration with attorneys and legal staff
Respond to accounting inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies
Manage high-volume, full-cycle billing including rejections and appeals
Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with client requirements
Legal Billing Specialist Requirements:
3+ years of billing experience in a large law firm setting
Proficient in end-to-end legal billing processes and e-billing platforms
Experience with Aderant or Elite highly preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Deadline-driven with excellent communication and follow-through
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
