Lab Technician – Wet Chemistry (1st Shift)

Location: Chicago, IL
Pay: $23–$27/hour
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician with hands-on experience in wet chemistry to join our Bath Department. This role supports daily laboratory operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring product quality, consistency, and compliance with internal and external standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine wet chemistry testing and analytical procedures on production bath samples.

• Maintain accurate documentation of test results, observations, and corrective actions.

• Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples as needed.

• Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.

• Partner with production teams to monitor bath performance and recommend adjustments when necessary.

• Follow all safety protocols, SOPs, and quality standards in accordance with manufacturing and laboratory guidelines.

• Assist with maintaining inventory of lab supplies and ensuring a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of laboratory experience, preferably in manufacturing , chemical processing, plating, or related industries.

• Working knowledge of wet chemistry techniques (titrations, pH testing, solution prep, etc.).

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise procedures.

• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical coursework or an associate degree in Chemistry or a related field is a plus.
