Job Description

We are looking for a Jr Underwriter / LO Support team member to assist our loan officers in preparing loans for submission. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and enjoys supporting the team in a high-energy and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Assist loan officers with guideline questions and loan scenario clarifications.
• Assist loan officers with calculating borrower income and preparing necessary documentation.
• Support loan officers in preparing loans for submission.
• Maintain organized, accurate records and notes in our systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth loan processing.
• Cross-train in other areas of the loan process as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior underwriting and/or Loan Officer Assistant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new software systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
