Job Description

We’re currently hiring a temporary Janitorial worker for a 4-month contract in Shelbyville, KY (40065) at a rate of $15.00/hour . In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment inside and outside the facility—including production areas, soil sort zones, and surrounding grounds. Ideal candidates will be dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions and work safely around automated equipment. A positive attitude and the ability to work well with a diverse team are essential.

🧹 Job Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of production floors, soil sort areas, outside grounds, and parking lots.
• Sweep concrete floors and keep the facility as lint-free and debris-free as possible.
• Empty trash containers and recycle plastic bags appropriately.
• Remove and weigh trash carts from the end of the soil belt.
• Follow all safety procedures and company cleaning standards.

✅ Job Qualifications

• Must be able to work the full schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Prior janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be professional in cleaning procedures and workplace conduct.
• Ability to work safely around automated equipment.
• Must be reliable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Flexible with start/end times if needed for extra hours.
• Able to follow supervisor instructions and all company rules.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with team members from diverse backgrounds.
