Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Recruiter to join our dynamic Human Resources team in the aviation industry. The HR Recruiter will be responsible for managing the recruitment process for various positions across the organization, from entry-level to specialized roles, including pilots, aircraft engineers, cabin crew, ground staff, and administrative personnel. This role requires a deep understanding of the aviation sector, including its regulations, safety standards, and skill requirements, as well as the ability to attract and hire top talent in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment and Sourcing: o Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for a variety of aviation-related positions. o Manage the full recruitment life cycle, including job posting, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations. o Use multiple sourcing channels, such as job boards, social media, industryspecific platforms (e.g., Avjobs, AviationJobSearch), and networking to find top candidates. o Engage with recruitment agencies, universities, and aviation training institutes to create a pipeline for specialized roles like pilots and engineers. 2. Candidate Screening and Interviewing: o Screen candidates to ensure they meet the qualifications and requirements for aviation roles, including safety certifications, licenses, and relevant experience. o Conduct phone interviews, in-person interviews, and skills assessments. o Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a thorough understanding of job requirements and cultural fit. o Provide candidates with detailed information regarding the job role, company culture, and benefits. 3. Compliance and Documentation: o Ensure all recruitment activities comply with aviation industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements. o Verify certifications, licenses, and other credentials specific to aviation roles (e.g., ATP license for pilots, certifications for aircraft engineers). o Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, assessments, and recruitment outcomes. o Perform background checks, reference checks, and validate all required aviation certifications before onboarding. 4. Collaboration with Hiring Managers: o Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each role. o Provide recommendations and advice on candidate selection and ensure alignment with company goals and values. o Ensure a smooth handover of selected candidates to the onboarding team for further processing. 5. Employer Branding and Talent Pipelines: o Help build and promote the company’s employer brand in the aviation sector, highlighting the company as an employer of choice. o Create and maintain a talent pool of potential candidates for future hiring needs. o Attend aviation-related career fairs, conferences, and industry events to network and attract potential candidates. 6. Reporting and Analytics: o Track and report on key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source-of-hire) and analyze trends to improve recruitment processes. o Provide regular updates to HR leadership and hiring managers regarding recruitment status and progress. 7. Candidate Experience: o Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. o Provide feedback to candidates, regardless of outcome, in a timely and constructive manner. o Maintain regular communication with candidates to keep them engaged and informed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years experience in recruitment, preferably within the aviation industry. Strong knowledge of aviation roles and certifications (e.g., pilots, flight crew, aircraft engineers, maintenance staff). Proficiency with recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and job boards. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple recruitment processes simultaneously. Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and accuracy. Knowledge of aviation-specific regulations, including safety protocols and licensing requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA regulations). Strong networking skills, with the ability to build relationships within the aviation industry. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
