Job Description

Position Summary

We are opening our first restaurant in New York, bringing the authentic Italian piadina experience to the heart of the United States. In this milestone for the brand's international expansion, the  Hostess  will play a key role as the ambassador of Italian craftsmanship and as a representative of the company's core values — customer, product, and respect.

She will welcome guests with a warm smile, share the brand's culture and product quality, and ensure that every customer enjoys a flawless dining experience consistent with our standards and spirit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a professional and friendly service.
  • Present our concept, highlighting the tradition and craftsmanship that make Italian piadina unique.
  • Promote the company's core values — customer, product, and respect — in every customer interaction.
  • Ensure that every guest enjoys a positive and consistent experience aligned with the brand's standards.
  • Act as a true brand ambassador, sharing the authenticity and culture of Italian cuisine.
  • Take part in external promotional activities such as flyer distribution, launch events, and street sampling.
  • Offer free tastings to passersby and invite them to visit the restaurant and Client La Piadineria.
  • Collect feedback from customers and share useful insights with the team to improve the overall experience.
  • Collaborate with the operations team during peak times, maintaining a proactive and positive attitude

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for engaging with people.
  • Well-groomed appearance, friendly demeanour, and welcoming attitude.
  • Team player with flexibility and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Passion for Italian food and culture is a big plus.

Education & Experience

  • Fluent in English and good in Spanish; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or promotional roles preferred.
