Renaissance is looking for the BEST OF THE BEST to join our award-winning team!!

 
We are seeking experienced tradesmen to join our team for historic preservation projects across the Midwest region.

 
Ideal candidates will specialize in one or more of the following trades: 

• Masonry: Proficiency in historic brickwork and preservation techniques.
• Carpentry: Expertise in traditional woodworking, timber framing, and historic structure repairs.
• Sheet Metal Installation: Experience in custom sheet metal fabrication and installation, particularly in historic contexts.
• Tile and Slate Roofing: Skills in traditional tile and slate roofing methods, including repairs and restoration.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the respective trade(s), with a portfolio of past projects preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of historical preservation principles and methods.
• Willingness to travel within the Midwest region as project locations vary.
• Commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

What We Offer:

• Competitive pay: $25.00 hourly to $50.00 hourly based on skillset and experience.

• Minimum Wage Compliance: Employees will be paid in accordance with Illinois’ minimum wage laws, which currently require employers to pay at least the state-mandated minimum wage rate.

• Overtime Pay: Overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
