Job Description

The Environmental Project Manager at P B Hoidale Co Inc is a critical role, aligning the company's business strategies with ecological responsibilities. This role involves leading and coordinating efforts towards achieving environmental objectives, while ensuring that all operations and projects comply with environmental regulations and corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee environmental improvement projects while ensuring their alignment with the company's strategies and guidelines.
• Develop and implement effective environmental management systems to monitor and improve environmental performance.
• Ensure company-wide compliance with local, state, and federal environment regulations, and oversee the application processes for necessary permits.
• Coordinate with all team members, ensure environmental safety standards are adhered to, and provide training and awareness sessions as necessary.
• Provide expert advice on environmental management, ensuring the company's operation and products remain sustainable and conscientious of their impact on the environment.
• Prepare and present reports detailing the environmental impact of company projects and operations, along with recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
• Minimum of five years working experience in project management with significant exposure to environmental projects.
• Knowledge and understanding of environmental laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal level.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills, able to coordinate and supervise a team.
• Experience in writing technical reports and giving presentations.
