DIRECT HIRE | DESIGN DRAFTER | Tavares/Leesburg, FL area

Seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design Drafter with experience in structural/architectural drafting/design.  Exciting opportunity to join a growing business (locations nationwide) and have access to new technologies as they pursue integrating AI technologies and advanced rendering software (fly-bys, walk-throughs, photographic-level renderings, etc.). 

You’ll create custom building designs, photorealistic renderings, proposals, marketing collateral, and social media assets on fast-track schedules — directly impacting projects coast-to-coast while growing your skills in a collaborative, high-energy environment.

Key Skills (do not have to have all): CAD, REVIT, Bluebeam, BIM, 3D Modeling, Rendering, Construction Materials, etc. **Experience with 3D renderings would be a big plus**

• Anticipate $50K-$70K, dependent on experience

Responsibilities:

• Design and Drafting: Develop detailed drawings and plans for commercial buildings using AutoCAD.
• Collaboration: Partner with engineers, architects, and project managers to create comprehensive design solutions tailored to construction methods.
• Plan Review: Interpret and review project specifications, blueprints, and other technical documents specific to design.
• Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Revisions: Update and revise drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and evolving project requirements.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.

Requirements:

• Prefer Design/Drafting related degree/certifications
  
• 2+ years of experience in structural or architectural drafting/design for commercial buildings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (3D), REVIT + Illustrator, SketchUp, Bluebeam, or Adobe InDesign
  
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Exceptional precision and attention to detail in drafting and design work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Portfolio of design or drafting work required
