Job Duties

• Floor & Dishwasher - Set up of coffee bar, salad bar and soup bar. Monitor and maintain areas throughout shift. Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of each area. Replenish supplies and product for each culinary area (disposables and food). Wash and sort dishes and utensils through dishwasher machine and three bay sink procedures. Return washed utensils to appropriate areas. Maintain open lines of communication with culinary team and management to ensure support. Maintain a friendly and engaging manner with all customers. Perform other tasks as assigned by management and staff.
• Sandwich Artist and Juice Bar Associate - Fulfill customer orders quickly and accurately for made-to-order and Juice Bar areas. Maintain a safe, sanitary environment. Greet customers and answer questions about the menu. Cut, chop and slice menu toppings such as meats, cheeses, breads and vegetables and fruits. Take and fulfill orders according to customer order and recipes established by market management. Follow all food and safety standards including cleaning and disinfecting workstations and utensils, storing food properly during shifts.
• Safety - Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines. Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions, accidents, or issues and notify store management. Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify management of any items in need of repair. Notify management of customer or employee accidents.
• Miscellaneous - Report all issues to management. Look for ways to improve processes and procedures. Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience 
• Less than High school diploma
• Must be 16 years
• Per 8-hour shift. Stand 8 hours. Sit 0 hours. Regular interaction with others and performs a degree of independent work. Infrequently lift up to 50 pounds. Frequently bend/stoop/twist (greater than 90°), reach below knee level, squat/kneel/crawl, and climb stairs. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail or grocery industry. Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition and subtraction).
• Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Able to rotate stock and keep waste records. 
• Attention to detail to fulfill orders correctly and spot issues related to sanitation and safety
• Ability to operate food prep tools and equipment such as knives panini press , bread slicer, etc.
• Customer service skills to interact positively with customers and address potential concerns. Multitasking skills to assist multiple customers simultaneously during busy periods.
