Description Michelle Espejo with Robert Half Finance & Accounting is recruiting for a Management Company Accountant at a High Growth Venture Capital Firm. This is a full-time permanent role based in Palo Alto with a Hybrid schedule. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. You'll work closely with leadership and contribute to core accounting functions that support both daily operations and strategic initiatives. The role offers exposure to fund operations, corporate accounting, and investment activities within a collaborative and innovative team. Responsibilities: + Process invoices, payments, and expense reports + Maintain accounting records and assist with month- and quarter-end close + Help prepare tax documents and support external tax teams + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking + Manage regulatory filings like 1099s and state reports + Record investment activity and assist with general accounting tasks *Please contact Michelle Espejo via LinkedIn or email for additional info and immediate consideration. Requirements + 5+ years of accounting experience, with expertise in general ledger, AP, and financial close + Financial services experience (Ideally an investment management, management company) + Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and high-volume processing + Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach + Reliable, adaptable, and a strong team player + CPA preferred, not required Interested or even just curious?
