For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $22.00 - $27.00 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and recognition programs.
The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

ASCO Summer Applications Engineering Intern in
Florham Park, NJ for Summer 2026 . This position will be responsible for performing entry-level mechanical, electrical and/or controls engineering activities associated with the design of Automatic Transfer Switches.
Primary Responsibilities: - Assist other experience engineers with various activities (i.e. CAD, SCADA programming, Process Improvement, Test Automation, Etc.).
- Help organize design engineering documentation.
- Shadow experienced engineers & designers in day-to-day work activities.
- Participates in training programs
- Continuous experimentation mentality to add value to the team while reducing waste.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior level status in relevant engineering degree program.
- Basic understanding of mechanical / electrical engineering / computer science / equivalent.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills including, but not limited to, listen effectively, and solicit input from others, work well in a team environment.
- Basic ability to use Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Familiar with CAD 2D/3D & CAD management systems is a plus for some projects.
