Position Overview We are looking for a motivated
Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to develop hands-on skills, gain industry experience, and work alongside experienced electricians on a variety of electrical systems. The apprentice will assist with electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting under the supervision of journeyman and master electricians.
Key Responsibilities - Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Support power cable installation, terminations, and generator system setups.
- Help with DC battery and power plant installations.
- Work on medium voltage and power distribution systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, electrical codes, and company guidelines.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
- Participate in on-the-job training and required coursework for licensure.
- Travel to different project sites as needed.
Qualifications - High school diploma or GED required.
- Enrollment in or willingness to join an electrical apprenticeship program.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn.
- Ability to work in different environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Physically able to lift heavy materials and equipment as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL
- Willingness to learn to operate a variety of equipment
- Willingness to travel for projects across the U.S.
